John Cofer is an Associate Broker and Analyst with Randall Commercial Group, LLC. His areas of coverage include commercial leasing, buyer representation, net lease asset brokerage, and financial underwriting for properties. John is also directing several of the Randall Commercial Group’s tenant level research initiates and the technological support. John performs risk assessments for properties and market segments for the firm.
John began his career with a publicly traded company in healthcare management, where he discerned the importance of real estate portfolio unit location as it pertains to revenue and the expansion of healthcare services. In 2008, John was recruited to the banking sector for a publicly traded national bank. The bulk of his management experience centered on Mortgage and Commercial Loan servicing, as well as modernizing dated, inefficient procedures and technologies. He also gained experience and licensing in the insurance sector. Building on his management skills, John served as chief operating officer for upstart company where oversaw all manufacturing and shipping operations, vendor management and prepared territory expansion planning.
John graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2003, earning a degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Real Estate. He is currently licensed with the Mississippi Insurance Commission and is a member of the University of Mississippi Sigma Chi Advisory Board.
When not at work, you will find John cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels, spending time outdoors, or testing out a new recipe in the kitchen. He also loves to spend time with his wife, Katie, and their two dogs.
